You can harvest up to 500 g per square meter under a 600w grow lamp indoors, and it should be ready to harvest up to 50 days after flipping it to flower. It produces a thick layer of resin around the second flowering week that ends up covering the entire plant from top to bottom. Its strong branches can easily hold up the weight of its dense, thick flowers.

Growing Afghan Kush Outdoors

Outdoors this strain flowers nicely, although you’ll need to train it securely outdoors in order for the buds to grow as big as possible. It should be ready to harvest towards the end of September/beginning of October. Make sure you use preventive treatments for fungi – its buds are so thick that you’ll need to protect them. Propolis is the perfect way to naturally protect your plants from rot.
