This crossing initially brought great quality phenotypes that were given a name. Afterwards, it was decided that some of those phenotypes were going to continue getting crossed and some others were going to be grown. One of them was “Jack The Ripper”, one of the best marijuana strains in the world.

Anyone who has grown Lemon Haze will realize that they are both very similar regarding speed development and morphology, although in this case we are talking about a much faster and stronger strain, which can easily surpass 140 cm in height. For this reason, we recommend growing it using the SCRoG o method or performing various apical prunes to obtain a shorter, more manageable and bushy structure. Due to its morphological development and its buds’ appearance, this strain has an excellent natural resistance against fungi, therefore it’s perfect for indoor grows where humidity is a problem. With proper fertilizing guidelines, it can yield more than 400 g/m2 of thinly resin coated buds after roughly 55 days of flowering. It has very characteristic and eye-catching calyxes.

Those interested in growing Jack The Ripper outdoors should know that it doesn’t have a very firm structure, although it is quite flexible. In order to be safe, it is best to secure it using stakes or nets to improve the yield and ensure the production. Regarding its development, when grown outdoors and straight into the ground, it can surpass 3 m in height quite easily, but it’s preferable to prune its apex to make sure it doesn’t go over 2 m. With basic care, this cultivar can yield more than 600 g per plant and it will be ready for harvest by September, full of sweet aromas, however, some examples can be ready a bit earlier.
