Información del producto
With this Milwaukee Digital Brix Refractometer you can now find out how much sugar content your plants have by simply analyzing a sap sample. This is a great way to know how much sucrose they have and if they are taking full advantage of the nutrients provided to them.
Measures sugar levels in seconds
The Milwaukee Digital Brix Refractometer is an optical digital instrument that uses a refraction index to determine the sugar Brix percentage in water solutions. It also displays the temperature of the solution in a few seconds and you can choose between Celsius or Fahrenheit. On the other hand, measuring in Brix is a great advantage as it’s way more precise than other refractometers.
How to use the Milwaukee Digital Brix Refractometer
Calibrating the Milwaukee Digital Brix Refractometer
The recommendation is to calibrate it before each use or every time the battery gets changed. To do so, press the on/off button and the screen will display try out mode and the battery percentage, once that happens, it’s ready to use it. The first thing you need to do is fill the plastic pipette with the solution, place two drops on the refractometer and press the zero button. If no error message shows up, then it’s properly calibrated.
How to take measures
Once it’s calibrated, clean the surface with a cloth and let go of two drops with the plastic pipette. Press the read button and wait until it displays the measure in Brix units. Clean with a soft cloth after each use.
Usage recommendations:
- Handle with care, avoid dropping it
- Don’t dip in water or spray any other area than the one indicated to measure the samples
- Do not leave solid particles in the sample area and don’t use metal tools, such as needles or tweezers, they can scratch the device.
- After each measure, clean with a soft cloth and rinse with distilled water.
- Do not expose the device to solvents as they can damage it.
