White Bhutanese

White Bhutanese is an amazing strain that grows naturally in Wangdi, a district in Bhutan which is to the west of the Himalayas. This feminized version conserves the best characteristics of the original, although its sativa percentage was reduced during the feminization process in order to get it to grow slightly less crazily, and produce more commercial yields. However, its effect, flavor, strength and flowers are still the same as the original. This strain is ideal for guerrilla growers, as it doesn’t need that much attention and it can deal with bad weather such as rain and humidity.

Indoors, the best way to grow this kind of strain is to do so in large rooms with at least 3m headspace and incredibly strong grow lights such as 1000w HPS lighting systems, Sunburst CMH 315w or LEC/LED systems over 600w. This is the best way to let them grow naturally without using training stakes or guiding the branches. However, if you don’t have a room that meets this description, you can flip it straight to bloom as soon as it germinates, allowing you to harvest strains between 1 and 1.5m tall, producing over 400g per square meter. Another alternative is to take a lot of clones and do a massive SoG set up, which could possibly increase yield. Regarding its feeding schedule, this plant grows incredibly fast and is constantly demanding nutrients, and even more so during the flowering period.

White Bhutanese Outdoor Grow

Outdoors, thanks to this strain’s origins, it’s perfect for growing in rainy areas where nights get colder. Thanks to its structure and genes, it’s prepared for these types of situations; it’s the exact type of climate that this strain has been grown in for centuries now. In order to get the best possible results, we recommend growing it slightly later than usual; or else it may get much too big and be too hard to control. If planted late, around July, you can grow it around 2m tall, harvesting an impressive 300-500g per plant. It should be ready to harvest towards the end of October.

White Bhutanese Effect and Flavor

White Bhutanese is a strain that caught Mandala Seeds’ eye with its special, exotic aroma that took a while to understand. Its aroma is a combination and complex mix of spices, citric, fruity and minty flavors alongside a nutty aftertaste. When curing this cannabis, many of these aromas are really set in stone, although it loses some of the citric and minty tones.

In as far as its effect, it can be quite long-lasting and mentally stimulating. It’s a great strain for those that need to concentrate and keep their wits about them. This is thanks to its perfect balanced effect, as well as its average THC content (12-14%) which is balanced out with its CBD and CBG content.
