Hydro Rokz Cocos 60-40

Hydro Rokz Cocos 60-40 by Atami is a substrate made of 60% arlite and 40% coco coir. This combination is ideal to grow cannabis hydroponically, specially with the Autopot system. Its composition allows for greater root development.

Hydro Rokz Cocos 60-40 is a substrate made of arlite and coco coir, the perfect combination to boost the root system and improve hydroponic crops performance.

Arlite or clay pebbles promote proper water drainage because they barely absorb water while facilitating root anchoring. On the other hand, coco coir is well-balanced regarding water retention and oxygenation. Mixing these two substances results in an ideal hydroponic cultivation medium. Arlite reduces root rotting risk and coco coir retains the necessary water to maintain the perfect humidity levels in the root area.

For soil grows, the recommendation is to add two inches of Hydro Rokz Cocos 60-40 before adding the soil, in order to improve drainage and root oxygenation. 

Use mode

This substrate can be used in two different ways:

• Place on the bottom of the pot to facilitate water drainage.
• Fill the pots to grow straight into Hydro Rokz.
• Mix soil with Hydro Rokz in order to obtain a more airy substrate, highly recommended for humid areas.
