How to Grow Double Banana Kush Indoors

Double Banana Kush is a strain that tends to grow quite compact and small, more so than Banana Kush, with a large central stem that lets us know that this strain is perfect for growing around 12-16 plants per square meter or taking clones and growing a SoG set up, increasing your yield per meter squared to around 550g. One the other hand, due to its indica-dominance, you’ll need to keep in mind that it can easily grow to three times its size once the flowering period begins. That’s why we recommend flipping it to flower when it’s around 30-40cm tall, allowing you to harvest plants that are 1.4m tall after around 50-70 flowering days.

How to Grow Double Banana Kush Outdoors

Outdoors this strain behaves more or less the same way as it does indoors, however in this case we recommend topping the plant a few times with a pair of Round Tipped Scissors or guiding the main stem horizontally to avoid the plant growing over 2.5m tall. It’s slightly more compact than Banana Kush, making it sturdy when it comes to bad weather and insect infestations; these characteristics make it perfect for beginners. With just a simple feeding schedule you can get amazing yields which can be over 500g; in the hands of an expert you can easily harvest a full kilogram of buds from one of these plants.
