Here at GB The Green Brand we have the perfect tool that you can use to comfortably make your own drainage holes in your grow table or trays, regardless of what model you’ve bought.
How to use the Stepped Drill Bit
- You’ll need to make a small hole with a normal drill, around 4mm, so that the stepped drill bit has somewhere to start and doesn’t end up going haywire. Once done, switch to the stepped drill bit and make sure that it’s 100% secure.
- Now you can drill into your table, softly pressing down. As you’re pushing down keep an eye on how deep you’re drilling. Usually, around 25mm is the standard size for drains.
- Once you’ve finished, remove all of the leftover plastic shavings and you’re ready.
