Pina Rita Regular by Subcool The Dank is a strain that came about after having crossed some of the most famous strains from the 70's from Mexico; Highland Oaxacan Gold, with one of The Dank’s most-used plants; Space Queen. The resulting strain is sativa-dominant and produces decent yields that have an intense, fresh, pineapple-like aroma. Its effect is super active and energetic; perfect for trying with your friends. It’s not that complex to grow, although you will definitely need to keep in mind that its sativa-dominant side makes it grow quite large.

In order to get the best results from Pina Rita indoors, the best thing is to grow it for just 10 days before flipping the lights to flower; in fact, some people prefer to simply begin growing them under a 12/12 h light schedule. This will allow you to easily control and manage its stature, which can be a bit out of control. It takes 70 days to flower and when done right, grows to a maximum of 1.4 m tall. Due to its structure, it’s also a great plant for growing SCRoG Elastic Trellis Netting with just a couple of plants, allowing you to harvest 400 g of high quality, psychoactive cannabis. This strain also reacts well to being topped.

Outdoors, this plant is ideal for those that have plenty of space to grow in, as it grows both incredibly tall and wide with no restrictions. However, if you want to have even better control over your plants, we highly recommend beginning to top your plants once they have three nodes, and using the main-lining technique to allow it to grow horizontally. This plant can grow up to around 2 m tall, and is capable of producing over 600 g of delicious psychoactive cannabis from October onwards.

This strain produces some wildly intense aromas and flavors that’ll send your taste-buds on an absolute trip; it produces fruity, tropical-like flavors that are super similar to pineapple; when cured, it becomes even more intense. In as far as effect, its Mexican genetic makeup would suggest that it produces an intense mental effect, however this strain actually produces a moderate effect, making it perfect for talking with friends, creative activities etc. without leaving you feeling too stoned.
