Jack the Ripper Regular by Subcool The Dank comes from a long breeding process in which they were looking for the ideal strain in order to produce seeds of their amazing Jack’s Cleaner (Jack Herer x The Cleaner). The chosen male plant was a Space Queen called Space Dude, chosen by Subcool and his team, producing some pretty amazing results. The resulting strain produces various different high quality phenotypes, all of which received their own name after being clones and grown, and one of them was chosen and called Jack The Ripper, one of the best strains in the world.

How to Grow Jack The Ripper Indoors

If you’ve ever grown Super Lemon Haze, you’ll see some similarities between this strain’s growth and shape, although it’s much faster and stronger, growing over 1.4m tall easily. We recommend growing it using the SCRoG method or by topping them a few times, making for a shorter, more compact and branchier plant. Due to the shape of its flowers, it’s naturally resistant to fungi and rot issues, so it’s great for those that tend to have issues with humidity indoors. When done correctly you can harvest after 55 flowering days, reaching up to 400g per m2. Its flowers end up covered in a lovely thick layer of thin resin.

How to Grow Jack The Ripper Outdoors

If you want to grow cannabis outdoors, we recommend keeping in mind that its structure is actually quite weak although it’s flexible. We highly recommend holding it up using stakes or some string; this allows you to improve yield, as it can focus a lot of its energy on producing flowers, guaranteeing almost 100% of the total harvest. When grown outdoors and in the ground, you can harvest plants that are over 3m tall. We recommend topping it a couple of times in order to make sure that it doesn’t grow over 2m tall. With just a little extra care, you can harvest plants over 600g towards the end of September; some phenotypes make take less time and produce sweeter flavors.

The amount of resin that this strain produces makes it ideal for making your own home-made extracts, and when smoked it produces an intense, monumental and long-lasting high. With just a couple of drags, you can easily appreciate its intense psychoactive effect which may couch-lock you for a couple of hours if you consume too much; if you’re not used to consuming cannabis we recommend proceeding with moderation. In as far as aroma, it’s similar to different Haze strains, producing citric and pungent aromas, alongside sweet and fruity flavors.
