Jesus OG by Subcool’s The Dank is a very special cross that combines two emblematic strains, Jack The Ripper and Hell’s OG or Hell’s Angel OG. The final result is a great quality OG, perhaps a bit less intense than its parental Hell’s OG, although still with great potency, as it can generate up to 25% of THC. Generally, this strain features two phenotypes, one more inclined towards the Kush side and the other one nearer its JTR parental. Both exhibit amazing properties but the JTR phenotype grows a bit taller.

In order to obtain best results out of Jesus OG, the general guideline is to grow 9 female plants per m2, which will require an apical prune to control their height prior to flowering, otherwise they’ll likely grow past 120 cm tall. Using high quality and easily assimilable fertilizers will promote the full potential of the grow, providing yields of up to 500 g/m2 after 8-9 weeks of flowering. Lemon and fruity touches combined with an extraordinary layer of resin make this strain a spectacle worth trying.

Outdoors, it initially grows at a slow rate, developing a compact but bushy structure. As the sun hours start to diminish towards the beginning of the flowering period, the internodal distance increases, creating an open structure where sun and air can easily penetrate. Thanks to this, the plant will grow a great number of nodes and therefore, buds, making for an abundant yield that can surpass 800 g per plant. This strain is naturally very resistant against plagues, fungi and rainy weather, but it performs better in a Mediterranean climate. It will be ready for harvest by early October.
