Mother Gorilla

Mother Gorilla by Royal Queen Seeds is a 75% sativa strain created from Queen Madre and a Jack The Ripper clone. It’s an extremely stable plant with very open buds, meaning that they’re quite resistant to fungi and mildew. This strain will do well in any environment, although you’ll get a bigger yield if grown outdoors (generally bigger than the harvest you’d get from other sativa-dominant strains).

Growing Mother Gorilla Seeds Indoors

Indoors, these plants don’t look that nice due to the fact that the buds don’t look like they’ve properly formed during the first growth period. However, once they’ve been on a 12/12 light period for a couple of weeks, you’ll begin to see an increase in resin, especially if you manage to keep the temperature between 23 and 27ºC. With about 9 plants per square meter, you can get up to 500g after a flowering period of just 8 weeks.

Growing Mother Gorilla Seeds Outdoors

Outdoors, this strain is absolutely amazing, capable of surprising any and all sativa hybrid lovers. It grows out into long branches that will be absolutely packed with buds. The branches can grow almost as tall as the central stalk, giving a candelabra-like look to this strain. You can get up to 700g per plant, which should be ready by the beginning of October. Use Bud Ignitor and grow bigger buds.
