What do you Need to Make Water/Ice Hash?

In order to extract hash using ice and water, you’ll need a few different bags that are lined with mesh that has extremely small holes measured in microns – this is to allow resin trichomes to pass through. You’ll also need a thermometer In order to keep close control over the temperature in your water, as well as a couple of clean, plastic buckets; one for the bags and the other for mixing in your cannabis, ice and water in order to get the resin to come off. You’ll also need a press mesh, which is used to remove any leftover water from your hash once it’s been extracted.

These kits come with everything you need to make your very own ice-extracted hash, apart from the water and the ice. How to Make Hash using the GB Water Hash Extract Kit

In order to get hash from a water and ice extract system you need to make sure you’re using properly dried material or incredibly high quality cannabis. Take one of the buckets and fill it with water and ice – the colder the better. Once this is done, it’s time to put your weed in alongside the water and ice, and you’ll want to mix it for about 20-25 minutes. Next, you’ll want to start putting your bags in the other bucket. First, put the 45 micron bag in and then put the 190 micron bag in on top of it. Then, empty out the bucket with the water, ice and weed into this second bucket, making sure it all goes in. You’ll want to mix it again, taking care not to damage the bag at the top- lastly, remove the first bag which should have caught all of the cannabis itself, wring it out properly, and then remove the last bag – wring it out and you’ll see that it has caught all of the hash that fell off of your cannabis. Once you have it out, you’ll need to place it on the press mesh and work it through until you can’t see any more moisture coming out when pressed. Lay it out evenly in a clean, dark and ventilated area so that it dries out properly.
