In outdoor cultivation, this genetics develops perfectly in warm and Mediterranean climates. Its specimens, depending on the selected phenotype, can reach 2 metres in height. In the same way, Purple Cherry can yield outdoors dry amounts of more than 550 gr/plant, being the ideal date for harvesting at the beginning or middle of October in the northern hemisphere and in April in the southern hemisphere.

On the other hand, one of the most important objectives to obtain the best results outdoors is to prevent the appearance of different types of invasive species such as insects, fungi or other pests. In this sense, different products such as fungicides can be used, ideal for combating any kind of fungus (botrytis, mildew or powdery mildew), boosting the plant’s natural defenses.
