These 104-plug seedling trays are one of the most effective ways to germinate seeds or root clones – it’s the perfect size to fit into almost any Propagator + Tray Kit, having been designed for this purpose, allowing you to place 104 plants inside.

Peat Plugin Properties

Each hole contains a peat pellet, with no nutrients so that it’s impossible to accidentally overfeed – during their first few weeks, your plants are quite delicate. Make sure you don’t use fertilizers in the substrate itself until you transplant to a flowerpot – during the tray stage, you can only use fertilizers via spraying.

You’ll need to wait for your plants to be around 10cm tall or for their roots to start popping out from underneath in order to transplant them. Simply press the tray up along the bottom in order to pop the plant out including its roots and substrate.
