Beyond the Brain by Mandala Seeds is a strain that comes from a cross between a Colombian haze and a male Satori plant that produces incredibly results. The resulting strain is 80% sativa, growing incredibly fast and strong with plenty of branches, allowing you to harvest over 600g per m2 in the hands of an expert. In order to keep this plant under control, you’ll need to have a lot of experience with training plants, as well as intense lighting systems so that it can flower properly. Growing Beyond the Brain Indoors

Indoors, this strain is grows quite strong to start with, so we recommend growing it for just a couple of weeks before flipping to flower; if not done this way, and if you don’t top or train its branches via a SCRoG system, you’re going to end up with an uncontrollable monster that easily grows over 1.5m. Keep in mind that this strain produces two clear phenotypes; a smaller, more compact phenotype, and a larger and more sativa phenotype – the best way to prepare for the larger version is by following the previous advice. At first, it may look like its buds are a bit small, but during the last few flowering weeks they’ll start fattening up, producing over 600g per m2 under the right conditions and with the right care; make sure to properly train the branches in order to stop them from bending under the weight of its hefty buds.

Growing Beyond the Brain Outdoors

Outdoors, if you want to try growing this strain we highly recommend germinating from July onwards, allowing you to grow this strain up to 2m easily while still keeping it discreet, harvesting an easy 400g per plant. If you have the space and time to grow it normally, this plant grows enormously wide with branches shooting off in all directions – you will definitely need to train them. It can easily grow over 3m tall, easily producing over 1kg of cannabis. We recommend giving it a progressive feeding schedule that increases as the plant grows for the best possible results. Beyond the Brain should be ready to harvest outdoors around the end of October. Use a Bluelab PH Pen Meter to measure EC levels accurately. 

Beyond the Brain Strain Potency

This strain is capable of producing 23-25% THC, plus it’s incredibly sativa – this means that its effect is very clearly mentally stimulating, making it perfect for getting chores done. If you’re used to consuming potent strains you’ll have a pleasant experience, however if you’re not used to consuming such potent cannabis you may find yourself a bit overwhelmed. This strain has intense minty, herby aromas and flavors that sativa-lovers will appreciate.
