THCV comes from the decomposition of CBGVA acid, which transforms into THCVA, an acid that can decarboxylate into THCV. This element is molecularly very similar to THC as both have an effect on CB1 receptors but not in the same way. THCV doesn’t produce psychoactive effects because it is a CB1 and CB2 antagonist, meaning that it reduces THC’s capacity to alter mental faculties, therefore, it is a great recreational and medicinal option.

This strain’s generative phase is slightly longer than average, therefore, it is best to add soft fertilizers in small amounts, such as Light Mix by Boom Nutrients.

Growing this strain outdoors is very rewarding and profitable. These plants can grow up to 2 m with proper cultivation conditions and thanks to its strong natural resistance against fungi infestations, the buds won’t be voluminous or compact, on the contrary, they’ll be long and aired. It can yield up to 600 g per plant and it will be ready for harvest by the end of September or start of October in the northern hemisphere and by March or April in the southern hemisphere.
