Sylvania Grolux Dual Light Bulb for Indoor Grows

This bulb allows you to grow your plants during their entire cycle using just one bulb. It’s perfect for the growth and flowering periods, and you won’t need to switch your bulb out halfway through or every time you switch period.

These bulbs are for those that don’t want to get into anything too complicated or for those that don’t necessarily have the budget for two bulbs, although we always recommend using a growth specific light, CMH if possible, and a flowering bulb, such as the Philips SON-T PIA Plus Flowering Bulb.

Combine this bulb with a dimmable ballast

You’ll need a ballast in order to get electricity to your bulb, and it’ll need to be the same wattage as the bulb or it won’t work properly. If you want, you can get an adjustable electronic ballast that allows you to adjust the amount of power fed into your bulb – you can use it for both models.

These High Pressure Sodium bulbs produce a light yellow color that your plants can easily absorb during every stage. During the growth period, they’ll grow out a bit slimmer and taller than with a CMH light, but once you flip the lights your plants will begin flowering as healthy as ever.
