Información del producto
When we give our plants nutrients through quality irrigation water, they are able to absorb them much more efficiently.
Electrical conductivity (Ec) is very important since when there is an excess of salts dissolved in the water (like it is the case with tap water), there are minerals plants don't need which stay in the pots, eventually leading to clogging at the roots. If roots are obstructed, plants cannot simply keep on feeding.
When we make irrigation water pass through a reverse osmosis filter, it will become virtually distilled, so that salts in the water will consist just of the fertilizers we have added. Nutrients are much easier to absorb than the sodium and lime usually present in tap water. Also check out the Aeroflo 56 General Hydroponics GHE.
Depending on the use you give to your filters, they will last for longer or shorter times. You can find all replacement and spare products in our website to keep your filtering unit as the first day. It gives you up to 125 L/hour of clean water, which is ideal in large crops such as big grow rooms with 6 to 10 lamps or large tanks in hydroponics.
Water in the system must be over 4bar if we want reverse osmosis filter to perform properly. If we don't have a pressure pump installed in the water supply network, the filter might not work right and end up losing water through the drain. In this case, a carbon filter would be much more suitable, although it wouldn't provide a change in EC.
