These peat pellet trays can hold 104 22mm Jiffy plugs, which is 40 clones more than the 33m tray, which is exactly the same size. It’s perfect for growers that grow lots of clones at once, allowing you to fit many more plants in the same spot.

Due to the fact that the pellets are smaller, you’ll need to avoid leaving them outside a greenhouse with low humidity or they’ll dry out much too fast – you’ll want to place a lot over them or get a small propagator.

They’re easy to prepare, simply let them soak in water for about 5-10 minutes and then drain any excess water from them – every last drop. Squeeze them and then simply press them back into shape. You can now plant your seeds or clones. Over the next few days you may have to water them again – never use a watering can, you should always spray them with a 1 L Spray bottle in case you accidentally soak them and cause rot.
