This strain was created by crossing Mimosa and Orange bud in their autoflowering version, bringing to the market a high quality and amazing autoflowering alternative.

After using different clones from the GB reservoirs, they decide to grant XXL autoflowering genes to different genetic lines, like Mimosa and Orange Bud.

After reaching their goal with different work lines, the decision was to make some crosses with Auto Mimosa XXL and Auto Orange Bud XXL, the 2 strains that were providing best results when grown under stress. In order to test their resistance, these strains were submitted to different negative stimuli such as hydric and lighting stress or even plagues.

It was verified that these two provided a notoriously positive response in comparison to other work lines that were going on at the same time. In order to boost these traits, the decision was to cross these two XXL autoflowering strains between themselves, which resulted in very strong hybrid seeds with a high resistance to adverse conditions and medium THC levels.

These characteristics make this strain the perfect candidate for growers that prefer Auto XXL varieties.

How to grow Auto Mimosa Cocktail XXL

This strain grows vertically a fair bit, its plants can reach between 110-150 cm in height. Just like all autoflowering strains, it prefers summer and spring as it will receive more sunlight and a nicer temperature, although it can be grown during the cold months and still provide optimum results.

The buds will be ready for harvest 11 weeks after germination and it can yield up to 160 g per plant. It’s best to use special pots for autoflowering plants and to grow it with good quality substrates and fertilizers. 

The plants have a spruce shape with a thick central stem and lots of lateral branches. Perfectly suitable for balconies and terraces, where there is usually no space for seasonal cannabis plants.

Indoors, this strain is easy to grow, as it adapts very well to even small 60x60 cabinets, where you can fit up to 9 plants in 5-7 L pots or to 1.20 x 1.20 m grow tents, which can hold up to 25 plants in 5-7 L pots. It takes very well to 18/6h and 20/4h lighting schedules. With favorable conditions, this strain can yield around 400-450 g/m2. The recommendation is to feed it with 100% organic fertilizers in order to enhance its organoleptic properties.
