Douce Nuit by French Touch Seeds is an amazing cannabis strain that’s almost entirely indica. This strain was developed after years of hard work by a man named Breeder Larry. It’s a cross between a Northern Light and a Hindu Kush strain, resulting in an average-sized plant that’s pretty strong-growing, although its branches definitely need to be trained in order to hold its buds up. It developed pretty hefty flowers that are long and covered in resin up to the leaves; it’s a great strain for making extracts.

Growing Douce Nuit Indoors

Indoors, this strain might seem like it’s a bit slow at first, but once the bloom comes around it explodes, growing up to a meter tall. We recommend placing 12 strains at most per m2, yielding up to an incredible 400g without much effort. In order to make the most out of its shape and future yield, we recommend using the SCRoG technique. Try to not use too much nitrogen, as it is easily overfed. You should be able to harvest after about 55-60 flowering days.

Growing Douce Nuit Outdoors

Outdoors, due to its short flowering period, it’s a great strain for those that live in rainier or more humid areas – it should be ready to harvest towards mid/end of September. Maximum yield per plant can easily be over 700g when grown in the ground. This strain is known for its amazing amount of resin, which it produces thanks to the intensity of the sun. In order to get the best possible results, try not to overwater and keep it on a regular feeding schedule. This strain can grow between 1 and 2 meters tall.

Douce Nuit’s flavor is a combination of some of the best indica flavors of the last decade; sweet, earthy and some phenotypes even have a delicious incensed flavor that last for a while.
