Irie Regular by French Touch Seeds is an amazing modern version of the legendary original Diesel strains – various different Diesel descendants were used to make this strain; Kasper Diesel, Soma Diesel (Sour Diesel) and the renowned Juanita la Lagrimosa (NYCD x Reina Madre). The resulting plant creates large yields and produces unique properties, as well as high CBD and THC ratios. This regular strain is perfect for making your own phenotype selection, although one of them takes 10 days longer than the other to finish up flowering.

How to Grow Irie Indoors | French Touch Seeds

Indoors, Irie grows almost identical to classic Diesel plants, so don’t be surprised if towards the end of the flowering period it grows up to 1.4m tall. Its structure is essentially a thick main stem with a few side branches. This strain is perfect for growing by taking clones and making your own SoG or using the SCRoG method; both methods work perfectly fine. When grown normally, without any pruning, we recommend placing 9-12 plants per m2, harvesting up to 450g when done right. The bloom can vary depending on the phenotype, between 70 and 80 days – you will definitely need a carbon filter.

How to Grow Irie Outdoors | French Touch Seeds

Outdoors this strain can easily grow over 2-5m tall when given space in the ground and not trimmed back. It can yield over 700g per plant when done right, although it’s pretty hard to keep in under control when given free reign. We recommend topping these plants a few times during the growth period in order to end up with a 2m tall plant, which makes everything slightly easier. It generally does well when it comes to bad weather and rain thanks to its airy structure, although we recommend growing it in more favorable environments; it should be ready to harvest towards mid-October.

This delicious strain has an intense original Diesel flavor, with a slight hint of delicious green apple that makes it incredibly unique. Its effect is slightly different due to its newly found high CBD content, although it’s still quite mentally activating.
