K1 aka Kalité Tizane Regular by French Touch Seeds is a renowned strain from Reunion Island. It’s also known as Kality Tizane, Kality and Taffe. This strain comes from an intense stabilizing and breeding process that took over a decade to finish; this effort was done to get rid of the hermaphrodite genes, reducing them to 5%. The resulting strain is a highly stable landrace plant that produces large yields, and potent and psychoactive effects. This strain is not recommended for novice growers or novice cannabis consumers.

How to Grow Kalité Tizane Indoors

Indoors, this strain can be quite hard to control due to its pure sativa genes. We recommend planting just one plant and using the SCRoG method, or making clones and growing plenty of them straight to bloom. You can harvest around 450g of delicious, highly psychoactive cannabis from this strain. You’ll need to give it a regular feeding schedule too, increasing your doses as the strain grows; keep in mind that this strain takes over 100 days to flower. If you don’t have much experience with this type of strain, you may end up in over your head, so take caution when growing these plants.

How to Grow Kalité Tizane Outdoors

This strain is quite easy to grow outdoors, although it may seem like it’s taking forever. The best thing that you can do is simply prepare a spot in the ground with slow-releasing organic nutrients, such as Bat Guano, alongside beneficial bacteria and fungi; this will give your plants plenty of food for their life cycle, while increasing the amount of nutrients provided progressively. When done right, you can grow plants over 3m tall, producing almost a kilo of delicious flowers – you’ll need to wait until mid-November to harvest, though.

Kalité Tizane Effect and Flavor

This pure sativa strain has a pungent aroma and flavor that's highly similar to lemon and fruit, alongside a delicious, intense aftertaste that's kind of similar to chile peppers. Its effect is intensely euphoric, active and it can be a bit intense; it's great for consuming at the start of the day or when you need to get physical activity done.
