At French Touch Seeds, the breeders are incredibly happy and proud of the fact that they can now offer the cannabis community a version of the legendary Riri clone (Sour Diesel French Cut) in regular seed format, while still managing to keep its Riri characteristics intact. In order to do this, they used a Bubba Kush x Kikiriki with the Riri clone until they managed to get the desired results; a sativa-dominant plant with an intense, pungent Diesel and lavender aroma, with a physical and mentally stimulating effect. Keep in mind that some phenotypes might present more Bubba-Kush like characteristics.

Growing DeeDee Indoors

Indoors, this strain grows quite similar to Sour Diesel, producing wide internodes, plenty of branches and easily growing over a meter tall. This type of growth means that you shouldn’t try planting too many at one; go for about 9 plants per m2 or use the SCRoG technique in order to increase the amount of branches and buds, easily harvesting over 400g after almost 10 weeks of bloom. Towards the end of the flowering period, its buds grow incredibly massive to the point where they look like they’re about to pop off.

Growing DeeDee Outdoors

Outdoors, this plant is relatively easy to handle if you know how to train its branches and prune them too; if not it can grow over 2m tall easily. However, if you have the space, fertilizers and patience for it you shouldn’t have an issue; just one of these plants can produce up to 700g flowers. Due to its Sour Diesel genes, you can grow it both in a greenhouse and outdoors as it deals pretty well with humidity and rain, although you can never go amiss when using preventive products like the Preventive Terranabis Tripack just in case. In order to harvest this beauty, you’ll need to wait until mid-October, although some phenotypes might finish up a couple of weeks earlier.

DeeDee Strain Information

This strain has a delicious Diesel flavor and aroma, with a hint of Lavender that gives it a flowery, earthy aftertaste. Its effect, due to its high amounts of THC, is active although it doesn’t get too intense or stimulating, allowing you to go about your business.
