Outdoor Grapefruit can be grown indoors and in reduced spaces without major problems, although, to obtain best results, the grower should be somewhat experienced. This strain can surely yield up to 400-500 g/m2 and its examples won’t measure more than 1.5 m. Flowering period indoors is between 9-10 weeks. When grown in a pot (aero-pot is recommended), a soft soil light substrate should be used, preferably made with different kinds of peats for better drainage. This photoperiod dependent strain has been specifically designed to obtain its best performance when grown outdoors. It requires a more extensive vegetative stage to produce high quality flowers as it needs greater amounts of sunlight during the flowering period to generate buds as hard as rocks. For this reason, the best seeding moment is between mid-April or May so that examples can grow as much as possible. Plants will be ready for harvest between the end of September and mid- October, depending on the area where the crop has been grown. Outdoor yield can reach 700 g/ per plant once dried, therefore, it’s a good option for commercial growers.
