Información del producto
Purple Shot by Exotic Seed is a highly aromatic cultivar that was genetically stabilized by crossing Purple Punch x Do-Si-Dos with Exotic Colours, an exclusive Exotic Seed (with premises in Madrid) strain. It features a 75% indica and 25% sativa distribution, therefore its effects are mainly analgesic and narcotic.
The beautiful appearance of these plants gets reflected (among other aspects), in its dense calyxes coated in a thick layer of resin glands that resemble coveted MoonRocks and SunRocks. Regarding its fragrance, Purple Shot exhibits interesting liquor notes with citrus reminiscences, consequently, it can be considered as a fresh strain with a slight astringent taste. On the other hand, it shall be mentioned that its ancestor Exotic Colours won third prize in 2017’s Expogrow.
Indoors, 5-6 plants in 7 L pots per square meter produce a yield of up to 450-500 g/m2 after a flowering period of 8 weeks. In order to grow this photoperiodic strain in grow tents or rooms, plants need to have adequate relative humidity levels throughout each of their life cycles. During the first 20 days, hygrometer values need to be slightly over 70% for seedlings to develop a strong and sturdy root system. Use a GSE Humidity Controller for best results.
With proper due care, Purple Shot can yield more than 550 g/ per plant once dry when grown outdoors and it will be ready for harvest towards the end of September in the northern hemisphere and by March in the southern hemisphere. This strain develops perfectly in mild climates where temperatures range between 18-25 ° C, however, it shows great resistance to stress created by weather harshness and plagues.
Its peculiar organoleptic properties originate from a terpene profile that is rich in limonene and caryophyllene, among others. For this reason, the citrus scent that wraps its pleasant aromas and fresh flavors is easily appreciated. Some fruity notes with grape liquor and berries touch intermingle with incensed and woody fragrances to form a dense and consistent smoke.
Purple Shot features strong sedative properties that contribute to an overall sense of physical relaxation and mental peace. It is suitable to relieve different chronic conditions like anxiety and stress. This strain should be smoked in the evening, after a long day at work, in order to enjoy an afternoon free of worries and external pressure.
