Black Lemon Auto by Exotic Seed comes from a cross between their Black Haze Auto and Skunk Auto, offering quite a lot of genetic similarities to Haze but with a more citric and intense flavor. It grows out quite long and doesn’t have many branches, making it one long cola of buds that starts right at the bottom and continues all the way to the top of the plant. As it begins to flower, the buds will begin turning a lovely purple color, especially outdoors, where temperatures at night tend to be lower.

Growing Black Lemon Auto Indoors

Indoors, this strain is fast and easy to grow, ready to harvest just 9 weeks after germination. It doesn’t give an extremely high yield as it has an elongated structure with scarce branches – this means you’ll need to place about 12 plants in your square meter to get the best results possible. Grown under 600w grow lights, you can get yields of up to 450g per square meter – keep in mind that these sativa-like buds aren’t that dense. Sandstorm is also a great strain to consider growing.

Growing Black Lemon Auto Outdoors

In outdoor grows this plant does well in unhospitable areas – it will need to be trained in order to deal with high winds but it’s generally resistant to any other weather issues you may have. The fact that the buds are so aired out allows this plant to practically avoid fungi altogether, making it the perfect strain for cold areas or places with lots of humidity. It should be ready just 9 weeks after germination, and you can get up to 150g per plant.
