Runtz Muffin by Barney’s Farm is a strain that’s been created in order to improve upon Runtz’s original yield (Zkittlez x Gelato #33) while maintaining, improving even, its characteristic aromas and flavors. In order to do so, an Orange Punch was used – this strain is known for its intense aromatic composition and amazing yields. The resulting plant is an improved Runtz, which yields higher amounts than the original version. This strain is incredibly potent and may even produce a more varied aroma combination than the original. Growing Runtz Muffin Indoors

If you decice to plant Runtz Muffin indoors, you’ll be able to grow strong and sturdy cannabis plants without much effort. We recommend planting 9-12 plants in 7-11L flowerpots in order to provide the best possible results. If you use high quality nutrients, such as Boom Nutrients Full Pack, you can produce plants that can grow up to 1.2 as long as they’ve been given a 4 week growth period before flipping the lights. This indica-dominant strain takes between 56 and 63 days to flower, which makes it quite a fast strain. When grown in great conditions and by an experienced hand you can harvest between 550 and 600g. Less experienced growers can still harvest over 400g without much effort. When growing this strain, we recommend using active carbon filters or ozone generators due to the intense aroma that its flowers can produce.

Growing Runtz Muffin Outdoors

This strain is actually quite easy to grow outdoors, thanks to the fact that it’s quite discreet and very rarely grows over 2m tall. However, it can grow out super wide, which increases the yield when it comes time to harvest. We recommend training its branches due to how large they can grow. Plus, outdoors you can harvest much prettier flowers due to the fact that the temperatures drop towards autumn, which causes the flowers to go beautiful purple colors and produce thicker trichomes. This strain can be grown in pretty much any climate due to how sturdy it is and how well it deals with insects and fungi, especially botrytis and oidium. It should be ready to harvest towards the start of October, producing over 1kg per plant when done correctly.
