Blue Gelato 41

Blue Gelato 41 by Barney’s Farm is a strain that combines two of the newest strains from the US with one of the most old school strains, making for the best of both worlds. In order to create this strain, a Blueberry was chosen and kept by Barney’s Farm’s team in order to be crossed with a famous Girl Scout Cookies known as Thin Mint, giving the resulting plant fresh and flowery tones. The result was then crossed with an already famous Sunset Sherbet, giving an even sweeter flavor.

When grown indoors, this beautiful plant gives plenty of yields and you don’t need to give it much care at all; it’s extremely easy to grow. It grows with quite an open structure with plenty of long branches, making it perfect for SCRoG grows. With just 5 plants per square meter you’ll be able to get up to 450g per square meter, after just 9 weeks total.

Outdoors and in the fresh air this strain does quite well with humidity and rot, allowing you to grow it practically anywhere as it’s almost impossible to bring down with rot. It has quite a clear, hybrid structure with small distances between leaf nodes and long branches, so you might want to train it with Plastic Stakes in order to save the branches from bending and breaking under its weight. You’ll need to wait until mid-October to harvest these beauties, yielding up to 1kg per beautiful plant.

It has quite a sweet, earthy and citric flavor – especially when cured properly, as its flavor can become much more intense. Its balanced effect is capable of causing quite a strong physical/mental effect, in which the consumer will feel quite a soothing stimulating effect.
